People watch as water levels rise on the River Mersey in Didsbury, Manchester. Two severe flood warnings have been issued by the Environment Agency in the area which could pose a 'danger to life'. Both East and West Didsbury have been put under the highest warning level after the River Mersey burst it banks on 20 February 2022, with some residents being told to evacuate their homes.
