John England, a co-ordinator at the FC United Foodhub directs volunteers packing food for distribution amongst residents and vulnerable groups affected by the Coronavirus pandemic, on 19 February 2021. The food bank is situated at Broadhurst Park, home of non-league football team FC United of Manchester. Broadhurst Park is situated in the Moston area of the city, where a new strain of the Coronavirus, E484K, has been detected in the community over the past few days. The club has been shortlisted in the Football Supporters’ Association Lockdown Heroes Awards for 2020.
