The former Belle Vue greyhound stadium in Gorton, east Manchester on 19 July 2021. Work has begun on demolishing the former speedway, stock-cars and greyhound racing venue in order to build 250 new homes. Countryside, the developers behind the scheme, with funding from Homes England, have said 130 of the properties will be 'affordable homes'.
