Buses in the town of Mossley in Greater Manchester on 25 March 2021. The Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham has made the landmark decision for the city to be first outside London to have local control over buses. In the biggest change to the regions bus network since deregulation in 1986, the city will be able to implement simple fares, tickets with price capping as well as integration between trams and buses.
